Discuss the game here! (sorry about the late posting of the game threads ... I forgot!)

Well, with neither side having anything to play for, it's got to be a nil-nil draw, hasn't it?
Oh, what the hell! Salford to win by 10.

A game that no one would really want to see other than the die hards.
Wakey win as Salford are playing the juniors.

Wakey, better team to win a game with nothing more than pride to play for
Super League the only place in the world where people still believe that less competitors and a closed market to new competition will improve the quality of the product.
Even the Chinese and the Cubans gave up on these marxist principles years ago.
SL with a reduced number of competitors and a closed market = North Korea.

The most eagerly awaited game of the year! I can't wait!
Why bother? Give Wakey and Salford a point each and save everyone the hassle.

BBC just posted H-T 0 - 0.
I can't get a radio feed, all the local radio stations come up as "unavailable at this time", so I will have to rely on the Beeb's score updates.
I wonder if it's a defensive masterclass from two committed teams or ...?

BBC Cumbria has Barrow v Widnes, that's the only local doing rugby today.
5 live was covering some yawnion before I turned it off, but might cut for up-dates.

Radio Manchester is advertising coverage of Salford v Wakey on its site, but I can't get it. Not that bothered, TBH.

I have that link bookmarked, it updates week to week.
Not always 100% accurate, but decent guide.

I have the BBC Sport RL Live Scores site on a separate tab. It updates every 2 minutes, though it is often about 5 minutes behind the real action.
10 - 6 to Salford at the moment.
edit for a typo

Error strewn game, Salford had long periods with the ball but made some silly last minute calls.
Reffing team left much to be desired for both teams, Hewer needs helf from his TJs he didn't get it for long periods. I think they guessed whether Salford's attempt at conversion ent over or not.
Funny to see the Wakey tries were scored by players coming to salford next year.
Must say I was impressed by the play of the youngsters in the Salford team, Owen at 18 is starting to show some real talent and Sneyd has bulked up a little and his kicking game was much improved. Ratchford is growing JJB chops and played a roving game at fullback. Some promise for next year.
