Three of Simon Cowell's worthless spawn. Whoopee.

Yep. Terrible decision.
Might be worth waiting to see what they're like on the night. I recall a lot of people slagging off the choice of Scouting For Girls last year, then coming back afterwards and confessing to having enjoyed it.
And who goes to the Grand Final for the pre-match ents anyway?
I disagree. Even though we'll obviously be there for the RL I think the Grand Final should be made an event. Okay, maybe not as OTT & 'grandiose' (?) as the Super Bowl as obviously the RFL & Rugby League in general have NOWHERE near that sort of money. But seeing as the NFL gets the likes of The Who, U2, Justin Timberlake, etc. for their half time show why can't the RFL get a good British Band to open up the SL Grand Final?
I'd have actually liked some good Rock band like Biffy Clyro or PABH to play 4-5 songs? But I'd have gone along with upbeat Indie. Futureheads are a good band although unfortunately don't get the credit they deserve. I'm not into Kasabian but they would have been good to open. Even Kaiser Chiefs.
I remember going to the Stadium of Light opening game back 12-13 years ago which 'the Quo' opened. Even though they're washed-up hasbeens they were entertaining & I'd much prefer to see them to X Factor contestants.
I like the suggestion a few months back in another thread that there should be a Winter Market ('Autumn Market'?) outside Old Trafford. Plus a Big Brass Band as Half Time entertainment would be great.
