the bloke always has been and always will be a complete and utter (fill in appropraite expetive here)
Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.
I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

Brough is proving that meaningful international competition is the way forward. Let's hope that a few declare for Wales as well.

to be honest i dont see huge issues with this.. he could have done this without a scottish cap to his name and the press would still have the same headlines.. If he had got an england cap i would ave had an issue with him getting the england cap and now i would have the issue again that he gets his scotland cap..
as it is he has gone back and that is fine.. but if i were part of the SRL i would be peeved that he just doesnt care that much about scotalnd.. but gift horse.. mouth.. etc he should get picked

If I were the Scottish coach I'd tell Mr Brough where to go. It's bad enough when players decide to abandon one country for another, but to then go back because you didn't get picked, well, it's an absolute joke.

But Briers never declared for anyone else other than Wales.

Okay he's chopped and changed his allegiance.
But... if we are to build the profile of the International game (starting with a meaningful 4 Nations Tournament) then this is good news.
As long as he doesn't change his mind again

I'd say that on the basis of this season, Gareth Moore deserves the Scotland No.7 shirt more than Brough anyway.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

He could at least have ascertained the chances of obtaining an England cap before announcing to the whole RL world that he had changed sides.

But what must the good folk of Scotland think? Here's the ex-captain of Scotland who abandoned them for England, just so he could play in the big games against the Aussies, and when he didn't get picked he expects to walk straight back into the side. That's not helping the profile if international RL at all.

Scotland RL should consider some elements from their own history on how to deal with his treachery.
I suggest inviting him for a meal at Glencoe.

Cheer up, RL is actually rather good

In fairness I dont think he was anticipating the likes of Eastmond, Tomkins and Myler emeging on the International scene so soon. I for one think he is one of the best half backs in SL but unfortunately for him we are blessed with a lot of quality players in his position.

Good idea. They could take him to McDonald's.

I would suggest that he be made to watch the match video of Scotland v Lichtenstein a couple of dozen times. Then we'll see where his loyalty really lies.
