I think for a lot of fans, especially those who endured the Hamilton reign, we were sick of playing home games out of town and the crowds dropped off because most had had enough When we got back to BP, it was a huge relief, a 10 year deal, we're back in Oldham and we can kick on. For that to be now taken away and we're now starting to play home games out of town again feels like the Hamilton era is happening again. Personally, I dont think we can survive outside Oldham, it just doesn't work, no matter what team you put on the pitch the crowds drop off.

Anyone get what the crowd was?

I dont live in Oldham but if you go round the towns in SL there's club marketing on lampposts, roundabouts, signs entering the town, its everywhere, I've not seen that. We're not talking a few boards on traffic lights, its well designed, well positioned large clear signs. The vertical signs off lampposts look great and catch the eye. If you see those signs in prominent places every day and see the club is investing the way it is they do work, they're a constant reminder.

Fantastic defence yesterday and a big effort all round, super performance, lookin forward to Barrow game on Sunday, if we play like that we'll be 80 mins away from Wembley
