Still going on about this? Jeez! How much longer can "he should have gone to the vr" "the vr wouldn't know" "bentham was sure it missed" blahblahblah go on for!? I'm sure I've read the same thing about 50 times now. The drop goal wasn't given and that's that.
Eddie and Stevo made 'Wide to West' even more exciting with their commentary whereas Ray Warren made Shaun Kenny-Dowalls interception try in the 99th minute seem quite ordinary with his commentary, see here:
I think I'd describe todays performance as professional. At 40-0 at half time we could easily let the foot off the gas and let them score a few tries, but we kept going which is great to see even if it wasn't the most exciting match ever.
Hard not to feel a little sorry for the Scorpions, they were out on their feet before half time and their heads seemed to drop.
Got to credit the goal line defence again, absolutely brilliant.
I thought I may have been harsh on France in my earlier post #34 I was wrong.
They are even worse than I made them out to be.
France is letting the game down badly, why are there not talent scouts from England hunting through the juniors or picking up fringe Union players to sign up to Super League Clubs?
It can't all be down to the language barrier, surely in this day and age most people have some rudimentary understanding of the English language enough to get by.
I've said before that there needs to be more French players scattered in the English clubs like there is with NZers in the Australian clubs. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Fages at Salford, and he's 19, so why more can't be like him I don't know
