  1. To be fair he did play an angry billy bremner, which gives his acting a bit of variety and an angry tranmere rovers fan in away days
  2. my sentiments entirely but in 1000 blows he is him being a cockernee. To be honest his acting fitted Adolecence perfectly
  3. You are now going down the road of a thread worthy of it's own our house catalogue was grattons If I recall
  4. 70's for me too. When summers were just summers and not heatwaves (even the ladybird summer of 76). We had lots of snow in winter that wasn't down to climate change/global warming/ no ozone layer etc etc. Things were quite simple back then, even music. Some heavy duty songsters in amongst the glam rockers. Mid seventies things began to change, musically we had punk but on the film scene, things moved on apace with with The exorcist, which scared the bejeezus out of me (wasn't old enough to pay for tickets) so somebody let us in through the fire exit. Then Superman, wow and the legend that is life of Brian. Tv seemed to be growing up too, with a lot of american imports. Apologies, anyway 70's for me
  5. Absolute comedy gold, with a keen eye on peoples foibles
  6. it's a cob,
  7. anything to do with Alan Partridge
  8. Dinnerladies and pretty much everything by Victoria wood. Not going out and there will probably be more
  9. OOO, this is difficult but here goes, in some kind of age order. Dad's army, Reginald perrin, fawlty towers, brass, father ted..totally brilliant. Just got onto Sean Locks 15 storeys high, I think it's brilliant but it's all subjective Nearly forgot Rab c nesbitt and still game will probably remember others as soon as i hit send
  10. Told ya, front them and take em to the wire and they will fold, well done
  11. Bernie Clifton, he with the emu/ostrich. Found out yesterday he was a bugler with England sporting groups. May well have been at the Brick yesterday
  12. Don't blink first, which I am sure you wont
  13. no, you aren't
  14. What a game that was, feel for KR, team and fans. Wigan had the unpredictable element necessary to win. Love what both teams are putting on the park/pitch but Matty Peet just leaves me in awe of what he is doing/has done. Willie peters could be on a similar path
