What a really nice bloke, and his mum ! I'm really proud that oldham was a pivotal reason for getting him to where he is now. One day Tyler , when we're back in superleague, I hope you can return to us !

JT'S in the squad.

According to the 2 threads about him on the fev forum he was injured and left in order to focus on his rehabilitation. So he's either recovered or he's been signed in readiness for next season!

I notice in the latest league express that there are no stats for league 1. All the other leagues stats are shown. I'm assuming cian tyrer is top of the try charts!?

Two problems with that: first we increase the risk of getting injuries to key players in the 'easier' games and secondly we need give peripheral players game time so that they are match fit in case we need them. It also stops them from being disappointed and losing heart. Emerson whittle being an example.

Back in the day, before social media and while he was still playing, he used to do interviews and punditry for some clubs. It was done via telephone. You would phone a certain number for your club and listen to the interview. Them were the days! -
If its a billionaire then I guess you're right. However, there is something cohesive about all three entities coming together in a joint enterprise.

I'm an outsider, but I want the hornets to do well. I think Oldham, with both clubs and council, have shown the way by investing in the pitch. That opens up revenue in many areas. So come on Rochdale council, invest in a new state of the art pitch.

Could be wrong, but I think it was the Saddleworth session that we were asked to attend!

This is from the rules of entry to BPof, and I think it applies to when we play, things not allowed : 7.1.1 smoking inside the stadium (including, for the avoidance of doubt, the smoking of electronic cigarettes and any other vapour omitting substitutes); However, there is rule about not drinking alcohol within sight of the game, yet we're allowed to drink beer. So you may need to seek clarification from officials.

I have read, Tony Collins I think, that the split was far more complex than broken time. The Lancashire and Yorkshire leagues wanted to form and arrange their own cup and league competitions. However, broken time payments were an issue. I think, again from Tony Collins, that they saw how professionalism had transformed association football. It's a while since I've read his books.

Jim Quinn was that man. CH didn't ruin it, he kept it in a coma on life support. Thank goodness he did because we were waiting for the right time for Fordy and Bill Quinn et al to bring a new dawn. As for his time at widnes? Fans are fickle and at the moment they are 4 from 4 unbeaten. If and when 'the project' brings life back to rugby league in Oldham, then I will forgive the last twenty five years of drudgery.

Mad that it's took so long! I'm sure I saw a lady touch judge years ago up at sheddings?? Could be wrong though I had had a pint pre match.
