  1. Ta - I am technically a Liverpool fan, but my experiences there have put me off going to games. If i get a chance to go in the new bits I'll have one last go As for Old Trafford, if I'm not in a box I'm not going - getting too old to get crammed into my seat
  2. Its not really a recent thing Watch a few games in the 80s/90s and full backs regularly put their knees/legs up to make defenders to protect themselves. They shouldn't have to do it - however if defenders could be trusted not to tackle them in the air consistently they wouldn't do it
  3. Probably not - I've been in various places in Old Trafford, including "posh" seats all with the same issue Last game I went to at Anfield was the New Zealand test (whatever that year was) in the main stand, if there wasn't a child in our row I don't think 8 blokes would have fitted in the seats it was so cramped - wasn't like we were all 6 foot plus either I've not been to many football grounds - but the likes of Newcastle, Wembley & City were far more comfortable when I've been (same with Murrayfield, Cardiff, Twickenham...)
  4. Neither stadium seems to have leg room for anybody over 5 foot 8. I avoid both now
  5. I'd adjust the prices from the get go, the facilities at City are much better than United - the tickets for the GF now are cheap, a bit of a restructure and you could easily get the same revenue from 60k tickets v the 70k+ you get at OT I like the idea of all grand finals being there over the weekend
  6. There’s absolutely no reason why a coach couldn’t deploy this tactic. You could pick 13 props if you so wish. But I would ask why the 1000s who pick teams every week aren’t doing it
  7. From the press release Sky Sports+ launches in August to give more choice to fans via live streams, app and new channel | Football News | Sky Sports Once live, customers with a full Sky Sports subscription won't need to do a thing; Sky Sports+ will simply drop into the existing Sky experience, across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, Sky Q, and NOW. The revamped Sky Sports App will also become the ultimate home of sports streaming on mobile devices with Sky Sports+ streams accessible via event centres in the app. New personalisation features will help fans follow their favourite teams and competitions more easily. An improved multi-sports scores section will offer fixtures, live scores and an extended view beyond the usual seven-day football calendar. Refreshed design and navigation, including a much-requested dark mode will improve usability.
  8. I'm on Sky Stream so assuming for me it'll be just an app on my list like Netflix etc but will still interact with the main screen like most of the apps do
  9. Yeah - I guess SL+ would be the cheaper option of the two.
  10. Hope you lot who like it get a good show - never been my thing, doubt it ever will
  11. Watching Hull FC beat Warrington is enough entertainment for me
