Whitworth Yed
Morning All,Apologies if I have missed it on the forum somewhere but has a fixture list poster been produced for next season yet? I think Dave Naylor produced the one for the season just gone and it took pride of place on my desk at work. All the Pie Heads I work with have theirs up so I need to fight back
TOSH1960
Dave has put this on the website and there are links to print. http://www.roughyeds.co.uk/championship-fixtures-2017/
Dave Naylor
I'll do a desktop poster in the next couple of days, maybe today. Been a bit tied up with getting the season ticket stuff sorted so it slipped my mind.

Dave Naylor
The mention of the fixtures poster reminded me about the Stanza service I set up a few weeks back. It's a way of synchronising your calendar with the club fixture list. If something changes, the official fixture list will reflect the new data and your calendar will update accordingly. Google, Yahoo, Apple, Exchange, Outlook and other iCal calendars should sync. I noticed the service being offered on a few Super League club websites and one or two Championship ones. So, in an effort to keep up with the Joneses, I set to work. The Oldham Stanza calendar. There are many like it but this one is ours... https://www.stanza.co/@oldham_rlfc#/v1/ I put the Stanza Add to Calendar button on the website fixture list too. http://www.roughyeds.co.uk/championship-fixtures-2017/

thecrab
Dave, that is fantastic, dropped straight into my calendar, thanks very much. Small thing but another example of the superb work you are doing for the club.

Dave Naylor
@Whitworth Yed Sorry for not producing the fixtures wallpaper yet. I decided to take the opportunity to learn a new bit of software that I really should be using for graphics but I've always been a bit scared of. It's really complicated. Anyway, I haven't forgotten and I'll produce something with my newly learnt skills as soon as I can
Whitworth Yed
No problem, it is a busy time of year anyway.
Blind side johnny
Thanks for that link - the Stanza calendar idea looks great, time for other clubs to adopt it. Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.
