Piggy's mate
Not surprising really with the lack of opportunities! Touch Rugby W(h)inger and part-time Super Hero (Thursday mornings by appointment) BATLEY BULLDOGS RLFC
distantdog
Not surprising really with the lack of opportunities! Tough for him. He just never had the opportunities to grow into the role, and his chances looked even more limited this season with the arrival of Scott. l hope he finds himself a club that gives him the chance to play more than he has. distantdog
He had the opportunities last season but failed to make the fullback spot his own. Can't speak for Piggy, but suspect, like me, he meant the same as you LD. He seemed to lack confidence and made glaring errors. He never seemed to regain the confidence needed for the full back role, and was never in a position to have a decent run with which to get that confidence back. It was obvious from early on that he would not be able to dislodge Scott so has taken the right option to move elsewhere in search of matches. As l said previously, good luck to him. doggystyle
Well JK backed him enough to offer the number 1 shirt, yet knocked Leak back from 14 to 20. Or is that just politics? JK must have rated him but Scott has been a breath of fresh air. Even Ainscough would play fb before Craven for me. He always came and supported the lads home and away so is a genuine team player and nice guy, just needs the chance in the right environment. Good luck James. phildog
Best of luck to him. When he came I thought he would just slot in and be right at home, but for some reason he never seemed confident enough. He joined the line well and scored few tries but didn't look in charge at his end of the field. He'll go somewhere and fit in. Probably not the right place to bring this up, but as he leaves, we have brought in 4 new players, yet Boyle hasn't had a mention yet. Were Minikin and him unable to play in the cup, and what about Casey after playing at Leigh?

London Dick
Signed on for thornhill. Shame our players cannot sigh dual reg with local amateurs rather than traipsing to Oxford.
