  1. If you go into the settings, you can select/deselect various sports and/or broadcasters. If you select only BBC channels/platforms, they are showing quite a lot of live sport*, but their own website doesn't tell their viewers about it. *including Association Football, which I believe is quite popular these days.
  2. Oh, I see. I was referring to the browser version, which is still just about clinging on.
  3. It's still there, but what they choose to listed there has so many omissions it's not trustworthy any more. Right now, they have three cricket commentary catch-ups, plus the NW200 motorcycling from last weekend and nothing else. As well as https://www.rugbyleagueontv.com for Rugby League, I use https://www.tvsportguide.com for other sports.
  4. Yes. There wasn't a huge fanfare when BBC3 became a broadcast channel again after a few years as a streaming-only service. This is another part of the current problem. Four matches on the BBC this coming weekend; women's CC ties on Red Button, men's CC ties on BBC2.
  5. Some people would have automatically used the SL+ app to watch it. I've certainly got used to that being the first option since this season started.
  6. Susan Backlinie, best known for being the first victim in Jaws.
  7. Yes, someone pointed that out elsewhere - I'd got my transfer news mixed up.
  8. Hopefully, Lomax should distribute out to Young more often than Manu does, plus he adds an extra kicking dimension. Suali'i is an excellent player, but hardly a mainstay of the side. Plus he may come back if the RU experience isn't exactly the glorious prize like it was sold to him (or the paycheques start to bounce). JWH is showing the wear and tear of a long career playing the way he does, but Crichton would be a big loss if he does go. I can imagine a few quality halves being tempted to become Keary's replacement with all the other strengths the side has.
  9. Lomax and Fifita added to the Roosters side that did what they did today makes 2025 interesting.
  10. The Roosters were pretty much playing with their full first choice side. Now add Zac Lomax and David Fifita to that mix for next season - expectations will be very high!
  11. All the Roosters were top-notch in the first half, just tearing the Warriors to shreds. The visitors rallied a bit in the second half to make the score look more respectable, but they lost Shaun Johnson. https://youtu.be/q3Rkzb1Hmgs
  12. Roger Corman, aged 98. Not only a cinematic legend in his own right, but a man who nurtured some of Hollywood's top talent when they started out. So long, and thanks for all the flicks. https://variety.com/2024/film/news/roger-corman-dead-producer-independent-b-movie-1235999591/
