Got to be the tie of the round.Cas has seen some bad days for Rovers!

Really? After Catalans v Salford I'd say its the worst tie of the round.

I expect a committed performance from Rovers after Saturday's debacle but its hard to make a case for Rovers. Cas by 12+

I only said this because so many on here seem to have been besotted with the rise and fall of Rovers and wanted to have their say!

Tie of the round for Rovers fans, of no interest to t'others unless they can have another go.

Hopefully a couple back for Cas (Springer and Moors), although Solomona and Webster picked up knocks last week so wouldn't be suprised if they missed.

Be nice to have stronger bench, with some real impact (Mcshane, Springer, Moors, Cook has a good blend of physicality, graft and guile) and with that in mind I'd expect the our pack to lead us to victory by a couple of scores.

If Solomona doesn't play, Hitchcox will replace him and could be our weaknesses (defensively) ), especially if he lines up against Mantellano under the kicks.

Mantellato is injured and won't be back for a good while.

After the turbulent week at Rovers, I'm expecting a massive response. I'd even say we could win this.

All depending on the players and if they feel bad enough to actually put a shift in this week.

Cant say im dissapointed about no Mantellano. Who's been lining up on wings for you? Sio and Dixon?

Hope Solomona and Webster have the day off. Mantellato a big miss, great points machine til detached retina and broken arm.Dixon very unlikely expect Wardill from Academy on wing. Sio at centre so could be anyone on other wing!

I dont!! although suspect Solomona will miss.  He was on a night out on Saturday with his arm in a sling!

Mantellato injury (s) sounds nasty.  Could be a tough afternoon for academy lad if Solomona does play (especially if Webster is inside him) ,that said Hitchcox is a decent finisher, just a bit shakey in defence.

Fancy it will be a high scoring game - especially if weather stays dry.

What's wrong with Catalans v Salford? I'm really looking forward to it.

You should remember Mantellato eye injury....he kicked that equaliser from the touchline in poor weather with one eye closed. Then with an early return he played most of the Hull Derby with a broken arm.

I also expect a high scoring game!

This will be a very interesting and nervous match for the recently suffering Rovers' faithful. Their team shouldn't need coaching after last weekend's result, their pride is what should drive them to at least keep this fixture competitive.

Both sides missing key personnel but Rovers probably harder hit in the injuries department and with Cas at home I think they'll win this by a few.

On the flip side to that, certain Hull KR players will be wondering if Hudgell's scathing comments were directed at them so may put in a shift for fear of being shown the door.

So, in summing up, I actually have no idea how this will pan out.

Cas 32 Hull KR 26.

Will Rovers be able to field a relatively fresh squad after resting so many last week?

Had to smile on Radio 4 Cup draw when Hull drawn out of the bag. Commentary " of course they have never won at Wembley".....little known fact but clearly important.

Then learn today that Rovers were the last team to win at Wembley without any overseas players.

Yes at least 6 players turning out tomorrow who didn't get onto the pitch last week.

Coupled with the other eleven who got onto the pitch but didn't play.

Thought you would comment on my first 2 paragraphs but there you go.

How come the fixture list has the 2 Hull clubs travelling to grounds within 10 miles of each other on the same day and kicking off within 30 minutes. Either kick off at 3 and 6 so that both matches could be attended or be clever and play on different days or be really clever and have one Hull team at home to maximise on crowds?

We could have opened up the South Stand and 10-5 bar then!

Nothing wrong with it, but I expect it to be the most one sided game of the round.

The Cats v Salford match was a really close, exciting game. I was there. Wonderful atmosphere as well. I suspect it will be no where near the most one sided game of the round.

do the hull fans actually go to each others games? That sound strange to me im a cas fan n have never felt the need or want to go to a fev or wakey match.

Go to Hulls games whenever possible, partly to watch whoever else they are playing partly to smile at the lack of sophistication in their crowd but more so when they are losing.....quickly lose heart.

Would go to watch Wigan! or any other SL team/match if playing nearby.

Times have changed due to cost and poor fixture planning so not as popular as used to be but in a town the size of Hull there are still a few non partisan rugby fans and of course always players in each team that have crossed over or played locally.

Course there are some fans of the game who boycott particular grounds....I just do not understand that.

Some do. I've been to Craven Park a couple of times when Hull haven't been playing and I've nothing better to do. I generally go to cheer on whoever they are playing, but there are a few fans that want both teams to do well. I can't imagine crowds being affected by more than 200 or so though.
