Can he pass the ball left ? If so I like him already.

Keeping the tattoo quotient up so must be an adequate replacement for Thacks.

Ability to pass the ball...

As long as it's not to the invisible man like Thackeray ;)

Thackeray was the best passer of a ball you will see in Rams shirt my young Coolie ( though admittedly favouring one side). He won't be matched on this until a certain Brad Delaney finds his feet and builds his confidence.

Pizz poor in his last (take the money then run) season, flat passes, hospital passes, passes to no one...no doubt the 2 season wonder will be scintillating for Featherstone

He's gone,we move on

We lived before him,and will live without him ;)

In your opinion , he was one of the best half backs we have had in a while.

Homer: How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?

He's gone,we've moved on

He's not exactly had much competition over the last 20 years has he. ;)

Barry Eaton wasn't at all bad IMHO.

It's always the way at this level 2\3 seasons and players move , still doesn't stop how good a player he was for this club.

Thackeray was excellent for the Rams.

Really enjoyed watching him over the last 2 years.

A couple of dodgy performances occasionally shouldn't detract from his career with us.

Definitely the best scrum half that's been at the club since Barry Eaton.

One other name (Eaton)

Is all you can all muster lol

Thackeray was good when Thackeray wanted to be,not saying we didn't have a clue of decent seasons out of him

Well almost everybody else he's played for eh ;)

His game was very reliant on grady been fit and punching the hole.

Delaney hopefully will prosper this season and looking at the lad fingers crossed been first team half back come season after next

Wonder if Sykes will get a game at halfback??

I'm sure when fev ripped us apart at home earlier in the season where their speed was incredible... I'm sure Sykes was halfback that night and not centre

Spot on he was up there with Eaton. You do him a great disservice with the Grady comment. I saw him make many a line break , miss them ?

Oh didn't realise it was let's reminisce half hour

Lads gone....hole to fill

No room for sentiment

Lad will rip us to bits next season without doubt...

In the words of my youngest daughter

Let it go,let it go

Before we all get frozen out

(I'm quiet sure that will travel high above the heads of the oldies on here)

I bit of reflection to pass the time on a very good player , nothing wrong with that.

Your only as good as your last game

His and many others was (sh'te) if we're bluntly honest, last decent game was fev away where him and wildie were head and shoulders above Fevs back..Coincidence it just happened to be their new employer's

Thackeray won't be going down in my book as a dewsbury great,we didn't win owt, didn't get promoted nor relegated, didn't finish above 6th (I may get corrected on that)

Yeah he was a stand out player in a decent squad and did turn the occasion game, but did go missing in some...which has conveniently Been removed with morrisons neuralizer ;)

Do do know what a neuralizer is ;) lol

If he never had a bad game , he would have never played for us in the first place. Do you know what a blind spot is ;)

Well he's down in mine as one of the best I've seen here. More attacking flair than most of those mentioned and a bit more pace. Last one I enjoyed watching as much as Thacks was Mark Keyworth.

Grady comment ridiculous. Let's see how good Grady is without Thacks.

An thacks without grady ;)

Bear in mind I only saw 2 victories in 11 games

I'm just calling what Ive seen this season

I missed the games like Whitehaven,Workington, hunslet,Doncaster

Where we were rubbish across the board

Let someone do a best of Thackeray season 2015 dvd

Because it would be interesting to watch..and how long it ran ;)
