  1. See above. It is always the difference between accessing in the UK and then outside the UK.
  2. We need to make this a sticky because it comes up every summer without fail
  3. It will be a complete joke but very much in keeping with the “anyone but IMG” noises that have allowed the current loser mob to take unimpeded control.
  4. Unfortunately most of the rich benefactors’ money went on the rich benefactors’ whims. But why is the game so weak in its supposed M62 heartland where it is meant to be beloved. More people in every council area play and watch more soccer than rugby league. And yet the RL there have an embarrassment of resources.
  5. https://www.rugby-league.com/article/63962/england-women-to-face-wales-in-an-international-fixture-this-august Both games in Neath. England on 1 August, Scotland on 3 August. The latter will be Scotland's first ever senior women's international.
  6. Beatrice Egli - a bit of a superstar in that there Europe - sings the anthem and we're all set for Switzerland v Norway.
  7. Meh, their (our) Gaza blockade busting one is better. As worn by Kneecap the other day, in fact. In the light of that, the Oasis match up is a bit of a surprise!
  8. You live in absolute fear that rugby league in England will break out into new places. Thankfully for you, with a five decade pedigree, it's a traditional sport in London.
  9. It will be button money to them but a big deal to us. The same with the reputational damage.
  10. Negotiating a pay off has been mentioned on this thread.
  11. The clubs don't like IMG or the twenty-first century - and so lock in Toulouse and London to Super League and pull up the drawbridge whilst nobody can be bothered to put in place any kind of useful structure or strategy for any other aspect of the game. There's something about unintended consequences right there. It would be awful and I may never stop laughing.
  12. The clubs don't get to decide which rules they can be bothered to follow.
  13. Farsley have been in that weird ownership one, haven’t they?
  14. The clubs wanted a magic bullet. There are no magic bullets.
