I totally agree hence why I believe the Championship is a brilliant arena for some Super League fringe players to mature. That’s why I was perturbed at the suggestion that the Championship was not good enough.

No visible changes at the proposed new training site at Sandal. No follow up residents meetings either as promised at the inaugural residents meeting in March 2026. Has a change of local council leadership put a spanner in the works? It’s a fair question.

I attended the game as an home supporter and after the in reality drubbing at your place I thought the Town boys would be fired up seeking revenge. IMHO the team does not possess a guilt throat cutting edge and they are devoid of an on field leader. Believe me Dewsbury were not great and probably played at 70-80%. Jonty G remained sat in the stand at the final whistle and I spoke to him personally. Always admired his honesty etc. He was magnanimous in defeat and said that Dewsbury fully deserved the win. Stating that Town did not see enough of the ball. I wished him and the team a safe journey home.

Current Championship not good enough for fringe Super League players! I’ve observed plenty having outings in the Championship this season and believe me not many if any have broken any pots.

Yeah there for the taking as I pointed out at the time. Wigan were much stronger v Saints in the semi and at a neutral venue. Powell needs to win more big pressure games before I join the happy clapper brigade. No excuses now money available in abundance.

If only they could have produced at home v a very weakened Wigan in the cup.

That Oldham lineup is stacked with so called top tier experience etc. That result is shameful.
