Read in todays League Express that both Gaz Langley and Dave Llewellyn have retired from playing. Thanks for everything you have done for us lads and good luck in what you do

I'll second that Dave. Both put in some good performances for us.

Gaz Langley seems to have been around the game for years. A good lad who played for the good of the game and what amounts to pin money for a considerable amount of travel and pain

Thanks to both guys. Both of them were heroes of that famous day in Leigh. I especially remember Gaz setting up Wayne English for that last try to wrap the game up.

 

I wonder if the shabby and underhand treatment Gaz got at the hands of the disciplinary committee this season has played a part in his decision.

The last minute try against the Skolars at home scored by Dave was critical.If we had lost and had had to go to London we may very well have lost.He also scored in the GF.One of my favourite players,but seemed to get few games this season.Gaz Langley always gave it everything,

Both fantastic servents to the cause, more so Gaz. If we'd have had a squad (and a coach for that matter) who showed as much passion and determination as Gaz did over the last 3 seasons we'd be flying towards SL now.
