Funny England will sell out at Twickers to watch England smash Samoa.

Indeed. 74000 watching wales play a team they havent beaten in 64 years!

PROUD TO BE A MEMBER OF http://www.rugbyleaguecares.org/ and http://www.walesrugbyleague.co.uk/article/8790/join-team-wales-for-2013

Predictions for the future -

Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG

Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT

Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG

Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

I promise to pay 10 to the charity of Bomb Jacks choice if Widnes Millionaires finish above the battling underdogs Crusaders RL. I OWE A TENNER!

Because it's the biggest competition in world rugby league, playing in a country where the sport is big

Because it's a chance to rub shoulders with like minded people from all over the world

Because it's an opportunity to have a good time.

Because it's an opportunity to celebrate your sport for its own sake.

That's fine fellas if you all enjoy it for those reasons then that's great but for me I'm not overly enthused about such lop sided contests V's country's I have zero affiliation with & judging by the attendances I'm obviously not alone.

I can't wait for the final Australia V England that's what it's all about to me It brings back great memories.

In the Guardian recently:

“I get the impression from speaking to people involved in the game in the southern hemisphere that the World Cup is looked upon as a third tier comp,” said Wales coach John Kear. “They say top tier is state of origin, second tier NRL and this is seen as a standard below NRL. It probably is and that is reflected in the interest shown in it.”
