(Don't ask us why they schedule it to go out when Super League is live on Sky, we don't know).

Enjoyed it , say what you want about Schoey but he sure is entertaining to listen to and says what he thinks , which we need more of among to much that’s sterile platitudes on tv now . He compliments the studious and insightful Martyn well .

This week’s Rugby League Back Chat show first airs at 7pm on Thurs 26th April on Freesports and is hosted by Dave Woods (BBC), featuring a guest panel of Richard Mathers (former player), Carl Hall (CEO Doncaster RLFC) and Peter Smith (Yorkshire Evening Post). Topics include the impact of Super League restructuring on clubs in League 1, and the status of the Challenge Cup.

(The show is repeated several times on Freesports over the weekend - check listings - and will be uploaded to TotalRL.com at 9am on Saturday)

Excellent discussion on VR . I’m onboard with Rod , get rid of it or minimum strip it right down . I said to a footy fan of mine when they brought it in ‘ dont do it, once it’s there you’re done , it gradually infects the game ! ‘ .  Gareth Walker is dead right , for right or wrong , go to a game on Sunday , get home by quarter to five and watch the officials give the big calls and have a debate and complain about them ! How most of us view our rugby as the norm
