Wouldn’t it have been easier just to have 2v5 and 3v4 . Seems overly complex by having an odd number , and a team that loses gets another shot

As it is now only the losers of donny v town wherever its at goes out everyone else can lose a game and get another chance

Team A plays team B

Team C plays team D.

Then the winner of A/B gets a free day out at alton towers. The losers have to sort out the cables behind Ralph rimmers tv.

The winners of C/D get free cake. The losers have to pull my finger.

Teams E and F play tiddly winks to see which team goes through to make team A's tea.

Then all the teams wander around completely confused like the rest of us wondering if the pillocks in charge have any idea what the hell they are doing.

Yep , they’ve took what should be something simple over 7 days  and drawn it out to four weeks with all kinds of permutations . We play one round of four clubs .... to whittle it down to four clubs

Soo as it stands and assuming Town make it to the final.

Elimination Final
Doncaster Vs Town (Town WIN)

Qualifying Final
Newcastle Vs Hunslet (Newc WIN)

1st Semi
Hunslet Vs Town ( Town WIN)

2nd Semi
Oldham Vs Newcastle (Newcastle Win)

Preliminery Final

Oldham Vs Town (Town WIN)

PlayOff Final
Newcastle Vs Town. (Town WIN)

There's absolutely no chance of us winning 4 games away from home to go up...… Maybe next year eh! ?

If Town beat Doncaster next week then that all alters.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.
