Is this week in league testimony to the NRL?

With the French national team a farce and Tonga belting GB, is this testimony that the NRL are delivering far more to the international game than their counterparts in the UK?

It is sad to see the French team in such a state. Unfortunately the Catalan Club doesn't seem to be improving the situation.

The 2nd/3rd best nation on the planet losing to the 4th best nation on the planet is not enough for so many knees to jerk in the UK in the fashion they have since the hooter went. Had we lost in that manner to PNG, there would be more call for such hysteria.

France’s National set-up replicates the Catalans Dragons set-up, it should do better than it does and seems to be a bit of a basket case.

The big picture is Polynesians are playing in ever greater numbers in the NRL, which means Pasifika nations are more competitive than ever.

This is very good news indeed for the international game.

It’s a good thing.

Rejoice, rejoice etc

Indeed, the Australians are now planning an under 30s, Under 25s, Under 23s, Under 21s, Under 18s to fit them all in ?

Very good, but, let’s not forget the rise of the pacific. I would not consider any other nation outside the pacific in the world’s top 7.

The Europeans, especially in the form of the French and Welsh have drastically fallen.
