Griff Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Just now, Blind side johnny said: There was in black and white. Jeez - you've still only got black and white tv in Kirklees ? I'd dispute that anyway. Plenty of difference between light and dark blue. Just watch the Boat Race. "We'll sell you a seat .... but you'll only need the edge of it!"

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Yellow tops and blue pants springs to mind India at the last Cricket WC wore a change kit for one game apparently for a colour clash although the cynic in me thought it was a marketing thing

Padge Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Go back to shirt and alterative shirt. You can wear whichever you want but the alternative has to be designed to avoid kit clashes. Visit my photography site www.padge.smugmug.com Radio 5 Live: Saturday 14 April 2007 Dave Whelan "In Wigan rugby will always be king"  This country's wealth was created by men in overalls, it was destroyed by men in suits.
Hull Kingston Bronco Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 I don’t see why the RFL can’t use a dark vs light rule, surely that’s simple enough? Think that’s the model they have in NFL. It is daft when two sides play in all dark kits against each other, even if colour is slightly different - guess Wigan/Leeds came down to that issue. If home team has hoops, so not quite that simple, then away side needs contrasting shorts and socks  How hard can it be? Simple sign-off process required with the league when fixtures announced, it’s an hours work at most Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?
