Owfener, I am sure Hornets would forego normal procedures and find you a spot, somewhere!

Cornwall put their hearts into it, but Hornets' experience and the class of Chase & co was too much.  50-Zero, Owfener, and away!   Some poor handling at times in dismal weather conditions did not help the flow and would not help the holidaymakers. The roads home should be deserted and there could be a quick Hornets getaway to prepare for the bigger tests ahead.

That’s a really good win. Especially keeping Cornwall scoreless. We’re seeing the benefit of being able to play the same team every week now.

That was an excellent result not only to nil the opposition but to score fifty given the poor weather conditions. Our handling was better than Cornwall and with more steadiness we could have scored more points but that’s five on the trot now. Looking forward to next week against the hurricanes.

Kelly having a go at the ex union players in his cornwall team on the BBC website. What was he expecting?  There were plenty of folks warning about the challenge of building a team at short notice on union players.

OK so they were well beaten on the day but you have to give their lads 100% for effort. They have signed a 2 year deal to play there so am sure they can and will only improve.

Certainly enjoyed our day out.

Cornwalls coach does seem to think they gave 100% effort. Silly thing for him to say at this stage in the clubs development.

 

Hope they go on to win games and attract fans.
