Vlandys threatening to play the GF outside Sydney this year again.

NSW government have cancelled funds for upgrading three sydney suuburban grounds (Leichardt, Cronulla and a team i refuse to mention on the Northern beaches) as they try to deal with deficits associated with pandemic and floods.

Vlandys says they had a handshake deal.  The guy isnt satisfied with brand new stadia at Parramatta, Moore Park and forthcoming at Penrith.

Sydney it is….vlandys got them to stump up the money….but he now wants it to be an annual bidding process like they have for superbowl.  Cities with big stadia (perth, sydney, melbourne, brisbane) should get together and refuse to bid.  But we know politicians have no backbone so more taxpayers money will be used to get the highest bid.

Peter V'landys is an accountant by profession. Accountants are all about making money.

Some of them at the expense of the well being of those responsible for making the money. His oversight of the horse racing sector in NSW was a matter of much media interest.

I think he is a matter of media discussion every day in NSW and QLD.

He certainly keeps horse racing and Rugby League in the news for sure.
