Watched Carcassonne vs Pia.

Carcassone won 52-0 against Pia who played absolutely terrible.

Vincent Albert Man of the match, he was unplayable, 2 tries and 2 assists.

Herrero, Bouregba, Canet and Drodrolagi were all fantastic aswell.

And 19 year Nolan Lopez-Buttignol does look like a serious talent, every time I watch him play he comes on and changes the game. One of the best young players in France.

He was captain of France 19s v England academy last summer, excellent player but a little light(as a lot of yoing french players are)  and plays well above his weight.

Another young player who's keen on a season in England.

Corentin Le Cam finished up with a hatrick of tries yesterday. He has made a lot of himself as captain. Coach Justin Murphy happy I imagine. He had 11 matches for the Catalans Dragons earlier before let go - he had a year in rugby union down at Céret. Making some thing now. Last year in the French team in Belgrade and later down in Nairobi

Toulouse Elite 1 has showed up - giving Lezignan earlier a close run & yesterday as well - two teams in the Top 6

"It involves matters much greater than drafting the new rules...the original and existing games have their own powerful appeal to their players and public and have the sentiments which history inspires"  - Harold 'Jersey' Flegg 1933

Si tu( Remi Casty) devais envoyer un fax au Président Guasch? " Un grand bravo pour ce que vous avez fait,et merci de m 'avoir embarqué dans cette aventure"

Was Really Impressed with Le Cam a few weeks back against Lezignan. There is no denying he is a fantastic player, I hope he is apart of the Catalans team this season otherwise hopefully another SL team picks him up.

He seems to have put on a bit of size and looks a threat running the ball now.

Agree saw him at Lezignan v Carcassonne a few weeks ago and he looked impressive (Watched part of the match with Bernard and he seemed to be impressed)

Both semi finals to be played Sunday 7th April in Marseille, a small one stand stadium that was used for tye France U17 v England lions in 2022, 4/5 hours drive one way for Carcassonne, Lézignan and Catalan and a shortish trip for Avignon, so I'm not expecting much support at the ground for the 3 Occitanie teams.

Vincent Albert was part of the original dragons academy setup wasn’t he?

what position does Lopez-buttignol play?

Wish more super league and even championship teams would take a chance on the young French talent.

Is the semi final venue chosen before they see who the four teams are?

Yes they it was chosen before, but there's only Avignon from over that way in elite,

Nolan plays 9. I'm not sure for Vincent, there's a.good chance he was in the academy, an excellent centre, the stand out.yoing player so far is Clement Martin,
