Is there anyone left to vote for? Punishment for some of the shady characters the town has elected in the past…or a preventive measure to reduce the chances of them doing it again.

There will be more Hornets fans at the game than the number of votes many of the candidates will receive.

- Ex labour - thrown out for antisemitism - Ali

- Ex labour - 10 x more antisemitic than Ali - Galloway

- Ex labour - thrown out for inapropriate texting - Dansuck

- Thrown out of the greens for being islamophobic -

- Tory - a wasted vote

- Lib Dem - remember Cyril Smith

- Misc - The indepandants of which DAVE TULLY is the only man to vote for. Not one of the above are as good a candidate as Dave. Do not waste your vote on the dross, vote TULLY and keep the ###### out.

Back to rugby……a good second half for Hornets (12 -12) to lose 38-12 and good coverage via Radio Manchester.

Hopefully, this augurs well for the Batley cup game and especially the ‘warm-up’ game with those neighbours, again.

As much as we like to have a pop at eachother, gotta give credit to your team today missing a fair few experienced players , you never let your heads drop and in the second half really played some good rugby, Lewis Else had a great second half and looks a real talent, I don't think we got out of second gear today but was really impressed with the attitude and effort from Rochdale today , looking forward to our future battles

Yes it looks like some Hornets fringe players were given a a run, the coach probably figuring that progression in the comp was not realistic. Looks like there is lots more to come from this team. Good luck with the rest of your season.
