Saints were a lot less threatening after Welsby took that head knock when he tried to tackle Broadbent when he score late in the 1st half.

Not sure if it showed it on TV but he was down for about a minute after the try, then he got up and staggered backwards 3 steps. How the physio who was with him didn't take him off for an assessment I will never know. If you then watch the rest of the game every kick he caught he then passed it to someone else to take it up. His involvement in the play overall dropped off and he was a lot less effective. Before that he looked like he could rip us apart every time he got the ball.

Saints may want to try looking after the man who is head and shoulders the best player in their team a bit more.

On Rovers, we are playing well. We now need to back that up with a strong away performance. We also owe Warrington one from the game at our place. Hopefully Hiku will continue to improve his defense in the centres and stop backing off players close to our line.

Thumping win in the end and nobody had a bad performance. Next week is an important game as we have to go to teams like Warrington and win to really be seen as legitimate contenders.

Probably not, sky are going to great lengths to point out we're not very good, cos we got beat by catalans, close, twice.

You guys got pumped by them, but we beat you...it's mad the mental gymnastics sky are doing pushing narratives.

Jodi cunningham said that performance from us isn't the type of performance to win a gf, cept it was a pretty good wet weather performance.

Crazy.

kr are fast becoming everyone else's 2nd fav team

Didn't know Welsby took a head knock late in the 1st half. Could explain why he had such a poor second half after his exceptional first half.

Why didn't they take him off then?

No idea. 100% he would have been off in the NRL. As soon as someone starts staggering they are off.
