Just listened to Cresta’s interview, Matty Costello’s season is done, Rothwell and Shaw (although still in the 21) have hamstring injuries..

Jacob Douglas would have been a good replacement for Shawy, not sure why we’ve not seen him for a while? Is he eligible to play now?

Assume Smith or Wood will play 7, would have been a great opportunity for Blain Marwood to get a run out this week but assume he’s gone back. On that note, is Mike Ogunwole still with us?

Yeah I listened to that, I do find the interviews quite frustrating never longer than 2 mins. So many questions that could be asked on certain players ie stack in the 21 is he back, etc? If we are going to do an interview surely we can get a little bit more from them as a fan.

Ogunwole was loaned to Workington end of June to give him game-time in exchange for Marwood who's not played a game.

Yeah that was my point mate, I’m not sure Ogunwole has played for them either? I thought it was a 2 week loan deal each way but neither seem to have played at all

If we beat Dewsbury next week and then the 2 homes games v Swinton and Whitehaven, which are all winnable, we'll stay up.

Can’t see haven finishing the season. Dewsbury will be a tricky one

Several Whitehaven players refused to play today including Jake Carter who is reported to be off to Castleford. IF they don't pay their remaining players more will leave and the Club will have to field local amateurs to fulfil their remaining fixtures so they won't win another game and will stay below the Raiders in the table.

Not sure they can play locals now the transfer deadline has passed?

If so surely haven could release Carter and we could pick him up on free transfer? We are desperate for half....

Would be interesting to know if that's possible.

Would have liked to see him back in a Barrow shirt however Jake's been earmarked by Castleford for some time now. It's only a matter of time he'll be playing for them.

I will put my house on that not happening and him being back in a barrow shirt next year

Just seen the highlights and both Carters yellow and Delaines red card seemed very harsh. If no one had received a card I doubt anyone would have said anything.

First 2 Halifax tries in 1st-half and their first try in the 2nd-half all went through left-wing Shane Toal. Not for the first time this season. His tackling is weak or non-existent at times. In mitigation he did make a couple of try-saving chasing tackles from behind.

Just seen this on fb. Not sure how legitimate it is.

So im hearing strong reports that the match officials vs Halifax made a monumental mistake , forcing Barrow to play with 11 players then 12 for the second half.
They should of carried on with 12 after the Bedward red card, then back to 13 once Carter came back to the field.

No official statement made as of yet from the Club or the RFL , but I will be reporting on this story for the BBC this week and get the thoughts from Club representatives

Initial reaction from Paul Crarey is that Player Welfare has to come into consideration after the apparent RFL error, with Raiders losing numerous players to injury since continuing with 11 players, including a concussion to Finlay Mcmillan.

I didn't think it was a red card in the first place but that is even worse.

What I suspect is the referee watched state of origin a few weeks prior where a sub was sinbinned (which led to New South Wales selecting an onfield player to be sinbinned in the place of Cameron Murray) and applied the same logic to the incident. I think it transpired in the state of origin game it wasn't in the rules, based on what you said it's not in our rules either.

As a Fax fan at the game i couldn't understand what was going on, and after the game in the 🐷🐷🐷 we couldn't agree about this incident and the more we supped the more confused we became. 😵‍💫

The only thing that will come from this is that the officials involved will be demoted to league 1.
Barrow won’t get anything other than a half arsed apology from the RFL.
The decision to put barrow down to 11 effectively ended any chance barrow had in the game. Even when back up to 12, the 12 men will have been exhausted from being down to 11.
