It's been reported on the rhinos website that on current ticket sales leeds will outnumber their counterparts two to one. If this is true it's a sad day for rugby league. What would stop a true fan travelling less than an hour down the motorway for the biggest game of the season on a saturday afternoon ? This game promises to be a cracker and if it's played out in front of a half empty saints end it will do the image of our game no good whatsoever.

I'll take that hotel room you've booked for wembley off your hands at half price if you want. Chokers 20 Catalans 28. As kevin sinfield lifts the CC there's a voiceover from the great Jim Bowen for the wire fans,
"Here's what you could've had"

A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance.
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

Certainly one that's familiar to Huddersfield fans.
Astute analysis from a Wigan fan:
Rumour going around Headingley that Wire will have to play the second half with 12 men.
It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.
Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

Bloody hell, mate, you rolled over easy.
I think I'd have pointed out you are in fact the holders, whereas Leeds haven't won it this century.

That answers your question.
Many Saints fans are glory hunters and will gladly have a day out of Merseyside at Wembley but only their true fans will go to the cup matches before the final, unlike Wire fans and Leeds.

Are you sure there is only one difference? Give us your suggestion and we might be able to get a list together.

Well, Bentham has been appointed for the game so the Saints fans know that their Challenge Cup campaign ends on Saturday.
Silverwood appointed for Wires v Cats so it's Yorkshire Thugs & cap-breakers v Cheshire Thugs & cap-breakers in the final.
