  1. Wheres the loyalty from someone who should be paying your wages, and doesn't? Loyalty doesn't pay the bill.
  2. If you work for someone and they don't pay, you go and find someone who will pay you.
  3. Winners. Bulldogs. Raiders. Storm. Roosters. Sea Eagles Points. 280. Away wins. 1 Poll. 13 to 20.
  4. I wouldn't have Bateman anywhere near the squad
  5. He probably doesn't get the plaudits he deserves , but James Harrison always impresses me with his work rate and go forward.
  6. Am i right in thinking that the AFL gave GWS a grant of $30 million for 2024? Whats the grant this year for them? Below is a article that confirms that AFL in Western Sydney is going backwards rather than forwards echoing Dave Matthews words. To spend all the money and see the product going backwards must have the accountants at AFL house pulling there hair as its clear as day that no matter how long they play the long game AFL and how much money they spend it isn't going to have any success in Western Sydney https://www.theroar.com.au/2025/02/07/blacktown-bust-with-no-junior-australian-rules-club-left-in-giants-nursery-is-the-game-under-threat-in-western-sydney/
  7. See quotes by Dave Matthews from GWS who says it's harder now to gain traction for AFL in Western Sydney than when GWS first started. AFL was told that trying to get traction in Western Sydney was financial suicide, but in there arrogance they didn't believe it. Who at AFL house thought is was a good idea to put a team there?
  8. There is not 10 British players this season in the NRL and there wont be next season either. It's just a pathetic excuse by some clubs looking at the easy option rather than investing in junior development in my opinion. Short term pain long term gain with junior development.
  9. How poor must Batley Bulldogs and Sheffield Eagles have been when Hunslet beat them.
  10. Plus Saints fans are well known for letting refs know when their opponents are offside or are commiting the dark arts. Actually perhaps there needs to be a big push in the St Helens area for match day officials with all them Saints fans knowing all the laws of the game, as they would require less training than match days officials from other parts of the country
  11. He's no fool, and anybody who underestimates him is a fool
  12. Perhaps more needs to be done to encourge players to become match officials when they retire.
  13. It's your clubs fault that your club and its players are in the state they are Chris Hill, not the RFL's, and I'm no defender of the RFL. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/35559239/rugby-super-league-salford-england-welfare-chris-hill/
  14. Our game won't catch up with theirs all the while our clubs sign players that are has beens and never was players from the NRL, and as regards raising the overseas quota to 10 how will that help the game here with even more has beens and never was players from Down under here?
