Everton were excellent (said through gritted teeth). Well done to them. Not sure Klopp’s departure is the root issue. Liverpool have not performed since the City home game. The loss of form in key players like Salah, Núñez and the loss of Jota with injury has completely stopped the challenge. Those two - Salah and Núñez - have been awful. Work rate on both plus their finishing has been horrific. You simply can’t do that when trying to compete against City.

That’s Liverpool done in the title race. Absolutely fallen apart in the last month.

World Cup 20xx. Will it ever happen?

I hope it is NZ rather than Australia. Ride the Wahs wave and launch NZ2 (Christchurch) into the NRL straight after. -

Davies for Hall. Great business by Hull KR.

Wakefield Trinity plans submision

Are any of those plans on the other touchline? -
From a Saints perspective, I much prefer Welsby at 6. Lomax or Dodd at 7. Benninson however, in that structure is not the answer at 1; not quick enough nor does he have the right level of ball playing ability to make up for the lack of pace. Solid performance from us against a hard working young Hull side (some positive signs with some of those young kids). I do wish Wellens had used the opportunity to blood at least one of our young outside backs though. A missed opportunity.

The way to beat Saints is moving the ball around the pitch at pace. Leeds have consistently troubled us by doing that in recent years. Salford won by doing that earlier in the season. Now Warrington. If you play down the middle and keep it tight, in most cases (not all), Saints will grind down the opposition on the back of a well drilled defence. Warrington did this superbly - supported by a hugely impressive forward display as well.
