Agree with this. In previous seasons we've started to panic and go away from the plan, whereas now we seem to stick at it in the knowledge cracks will appear. Enjoyable game all in all. A few daft mistakes, but some good attack and defense at times from both teams and close enough to keep the nerves going for 60 or so mins before we ran away with it.

I didn't see who threw it, as it sailed across in front of me. I do know it was one of a few pints that had been abandoned on the terraces before kickoff for whatever reason. Idiotic thing to do though, no need for it. Thankfully we use plastic pint pots.

I know the conditions, that's why I asked. It's surprising how many will moan at poor attack without ever crediting defense. I thought two really solid performances given how wet the playing surface clearly was.

A question for those watching the 1895 final at home. Two good defensive performances, two poor attacking performances or a mix of both?

As a Fev fan in the stadium, could have gone either way. Fair result though, can't complain at the outcome. Congrats to York.

We've just stopped at Toddington. Plenty of KR and Warrington, and team colours as we've driven down the M1. Only seen one car clearly Fev fans tho, and none as yet obviously from York.

I think I've seen that Jubb is the only one of York's squad likely to reappear, unless you include Mikey Lewis in the curtain raiser. Both squads on the day were heavily Covid impacted however, with several players even our own fans wouldn't have been familiar with

Wynne and Williams are the two I'd expect to see. Hopefully having had "niggles" doesn't equate to breaking down unable to continue in the first 10 mins...
