  1. That a terrible clickbait piece, "theres been a lot of activity already" then proceeds to list off a load of random rumours, many of which are likely to be total nonsense.
  2. Again, this is just from watching on tv but he doesnt seem to be getting away from tacklers as much as earlier in the season, it would be interesting to see the spacing of the breaks as I've a feeling the majority would be in the earlier matches. Obviously theres every chance I`m completely wrong on this also
  3. I don't think it has been fine, granted I've only seen it on TV but he`s often in the wrong place defending close to the line, doesnt seem to understand where to be to "sweep up" behind the line. Hes exciting to watch with the ball in hand, has some weird bump off think that defenders were initially struggling with but seem to have got to grips with now (no pun intended).
  4. Miller with the ball - Entertaining for his fans. Miller without the ball - Entertaining for the opposition fans.
  5. Nice to see a lovely positive thread on this forum..... Oh wait, never mind, that didnt last long as usual.
  6. Nothing specific, in Aspatria and Flimbys case the clubs restarted and are going well. Maryport has seen a resurgence, loads of kids and adults wearing merchandise etc, really big buzz around the club. My mate coaches there and they have made a big effort to get lads involved, and it's worked so far, but not sure whats different to other times they tried the same kind of things. Then there's Kells, Wath Brow. Egremont all in the NCL premier, all playing 'A' teams in the local league. There's some good youth work, with combined squads etc.
  7. Participation in West Cumbria is definitely on the up and up, especially at youth level. Maryport has teams at every single level for example, and have massive numbers at training. Aspatria and Flimby have restarted and are getting very good numbers, Cockermouth are going well etc.
  8. Considering the time he's been out that wouldn't have been a good idea. He looked lacking in match fitness understandably, just needs eased back in the next few games.
  9. Head high for a Towns, blatant 2nd and 3rd man in for Cornwalls first. Absolutely no idea for the Cornwall 2nd. Some odd stuff from the ref, just seemed to make up the advantage rule.
  10. It was weirdly conservative 1st half, very few offloads, not a lot of play to wide areas etc, totally the opposite to the Rochdale game. But a wins a win, added 30 odd points to the difference. Plenty to work on for Murray. I thought Stephenson was outstanding today, obviously Burns and Sammut too. No one played poorly but a bit too much "score every play" going on.
  11. How is " not being paid" the same as asking players to take a deduction or releasing them? Absolute nonsense.
  12. Made hard work of that.
  13. You sure they didn't get paid?
  14. Who didn't get paid?
