Leyther_Matt
Looking forward to Sunday's game, should be a cracker harking back to the days of the epic play off games of the early 2000's.As I'm sure you know from previous visits to the LSV, there won't be any cash turnstiles. However, tickets can be bought online HERE or by calling 01942 487888 and if you buy them before 3pm tomorrow (Wednesday) then the tickets can be posted out to you for the princely sum of 52p.Oldham fans are encouraged to buy tickets in blocks A & B of the West Stand so that you can be grouped together. roughyed34
Cheers Matt, yeah looking forward to the game if not slightly apprehensive about the outcome! Good for our lads to test themselves against arguably the best side in the division. We havnt got any world beaters, but the lads will give 100% and see how we go. Tough start for us really with two full time teams in the first two matches but thats what this division is all about. We will be there singing away as per usual and having a bit of banter with you Leythers. Hope its a good match and you dont put too many points on us lol!
Dave Naylor
Yeah thanks for the input there Matt. So, guys, having to choose a seat prior to going to the game, all a bit weird. I prefer to stand anyway so if I'm correct that's just the North Stand? What's everyone else doing?
antonie
Hi Dave we normally decide on the day which part of the ground we are going in,and purchase our tickets on the day. we usually go in leigh east rugby club for a drink before the game, see you sunday should be a good day
allroughyed
If we're going behind the sticks,I think there's only the North stand open. I looked on their website yesterday, and that's the only end that you can buy tickets for. GIVE US A TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RogerT
Sorry if we have upset them for you, genuine sentiments. They showed their class in spells on Sunday, we maybe just caught them at the right time, not taking anything away from Batley. Enjoy the game. Cheers Roger(Batley fan). Or a group of you are going and you have to buy 10 tickets on line in advance and at last min 4 of your friends cant go .......??? your left quids out of pocket ??? roughyed34
Are away fans allowed in the standing end? I know usually there isnt any problem, just wondered if Leigh have any sort of loose segregation these days,as some clubs do. Yeah as TBF says you have to go to the ticket office at the LSV on arrival to purchase a ticket,im not sure if Leigh have a barcode automated turnstile setup, i cant remember from the GF we played there. Not a problem just turn up buy a ticket and in you go. Just make sure we all get tickets in the same block/end as Matt says. The boys will need our vocal support more than ever on Sunday. Up the Yeds.

Dave Naylor
I tweeted the Leigh twitter account this morning regarding access to the North Stand. Their response: @RoughyedsFan Away fans aren't generally allowed in the North Stand. Contact Ticket Office on 01942 487 888 for full clarification. How awful. Leyther_Matt
Tickets will be on sale on the day, don't worry about that - it was just a means of letting people know that you can buy in advance as I'd expect the Ticket Office to be extremely busy in the lead up to kick off on the day. There isn't any official segregation as such, but in general the majority of visiting fans tend to group themselves in the southerly end of the West Stand as the second half usually sees Leigh attack the North Stand, so it was just a bit of guidance as I know it can be frustrating if you go in one section and find that the majority of your fans are elsewhere. roughyed34
Cheers Dave and Matt, i thought that might be the case Dave. Looks like we might as well go in the West Stand as Matt says, avoid any potential problems. Sad day when RL becomes segregated, wether its official or not. If you read this Matt, are the seats allocated to individual tickets or do you just sit anywhere within the block?
Leyther_Matt
So West Stand it is then. If you read this Matt, are the seats allocated to individual tickets or do you just sit anywhere within the block? It's reserved seating Dave, though obviously if it's not too busy within blocks A & B then you'll be fine to move around a bit without any problem; we've avoided selling season tickets in those blocks to make things a little easier for away fans sitting in that area to move around a bit. Dave Naylor
Reserved seating, that's the phrase I was looking for lol. Might just go ahead and get a ticket before three then, I really hate standing in long queues!
