  1. Some us have seen the responses as hostile. The pile on is out of order. Certainly keeps the ignore count up.
  2. Irony, a lot of people don't get it.
  3. Gutter forum, with gutter dwelling halfwits. Steph whatever your goals, don't let bored, single, middle aged males living at home with their parents, stop you from expressing your opinion in whatever way you can.
  4. 1991 (I wasn't sure of the year but checked), Old Crown Flatt, Dewsbury v Barrow 19 a-piece, I have the program somewhere in the loft. Barrow were the first visitors to New Crown Flatt in 1994, score being 76-8. I have that program too and if memory is correct, was a sell out at over 4,000.
  5. Depends what you measure. For all the structures in football the player pathways are a mess with fewer opportunities for young kids to make it. If you're a half decent player at Dewsbury Celtic, you have half a chance, which are good odds.
  6. Yes you are. Imagine what the championship would look like losing 5 clubs in one season?
  7. I know forums don't do pragmatism but Rugby League has for 130 years. Unless by some miracle the sport gets cashed up in way in which Super league clubs can't call the shots, we are simply arguing where the deck chairs should go. I'm personally pleased to have a season ticket for £120 to watch the championship. It is by far, the most value for money you can get for any type of live sport these days. £120 won't get you into Twickers, but I wouldn't accept the bribe anyway.
  8. A touch tournament is the pathway for participation to go through the roof
  9. He's behind you!!! (for an interim period only)
  10. It's the Internet FI, it's a cesspit. I've whittled my online exposure to TRL, but it's on a knife edge. My ignored user list leaves about 3 comments per page! However this method also shows how much we've learnt from the page before. Zilch. The fact is, nobody knows anything and we are reliant on 3 or 4 journalists and podcasts for information. The rest is just spittle ridden speculation, in relation to the wild speculation we get off the podcasts.
  11. I think I happened upon the site when tinkering was going on. From what I saw, I suspect season tickets will be £160 and probably not discounted at all.
  12. I think the froth is a bit overdone. If RL was a business it would be an SME just like mine. We're the type of business that has to roll with the punches such as Covid, increased legislation, taxes etc. We are full of great ideas but have no money but we do have severe tactical nouse. Unless someone comes along with shed loads of money, it's all we can do to survive. To survive and remain relevant is in my opinion, the only strategy we have at the moment.
  13. That's very interesting as the link was working earlier??
  14. The last bit is tantalising. Some considerations are that there's more money? P&R? A deal with Sky already??? Ooooo.
  15. 2026 season tickets are out. £120 are an absolute bargain for 12 matches. I might even get 2.
