I think most governing bodies would set some standards clubs have to achieve in order to run academies.

Trinity owner has big plans

Why would you even take the risk it has to be Neil Fox doesn’t it?. -
That list just tells me northern clubs are just as likely to fail.

I don’t think we will be way off but also there isn’t enough spark to get us any of the big prizes. Large parts of the team have been allowed to get old together which to be fair is very unusual for how Saints have been run for the past 25/30 years. Some big decisions to be made over the next couple of years. Saints are under a bit more pressure as with Wardle Walters and Dupree Wigan at the minute are getting those decisions right.

Hurrell still about to cover centre but agreed we are desperate for some genuine pace in the outside backs

Whether it’s true or not it’s pretty pointless unless you are prepared to say where it’s coming from. On top of that it’s hilarious if Wire were paying him that much. -
Jack Welsby off to the NRL ?
bobbruce replied to THE RED ROOSTER's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
If he leaves Saints it will be for the NRL a good chance if he came back it would then be to Wigan (like Thompson)as I don’t see anyone else matching their offer. -
Cornwall forced out of the 1895 cup
bobbruce replied to The Future is League's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
I understand the difficulties heartland clubs have travel to Cornwall once in the league is enough for them and they obviously don’t want to travel there again for the cup. Having said that I’m sure they will understand the difficulties Cornwall will face having to make that trip every other week just to complete their season. As such I’m sure the other clubs would be happy to chuck some money in to cover their costs. -

I suppose the Kangaroos have to find players from somewhere so they can beat NZ and Tonga.- 99 replies

And we wonder why the game struggles to spread its foot print.
