Wellsy4HullFC
Competition for places should be a good thing and if their locals don't like it there are plenty of other SL clubs that would have them. Not ideal, but this is why you need two French teams in really.
Hvy wg
We're bringing "lesser" players because if we kept Yaha/Sigismeau/Richards, we'll be under fire if there's an injury. Yaha is very young and is still injury prone, Sigismeau has only 1 year of rugby league experience and Richards is 30+ years old. When it comes to Pelissier, it's almost obvious that they want him to leave to make way for Guasch. You cannot stop the love of a dad.
Viking Warrior
Using this years squad; Lomax Makinson Percival Fleming Swift Charnock Richardson Savelio Roby Richards Greenwood Thompson Jones Aside from the half backs thats still a pretty stong team of only homegrown players. exccept that tom makinson is a wiganer and andre savalio was originally at warringtons academy "Why is Napoleon crying ?" said one sailor to the other, "poor ###### thinks he's being exiled to st helens" came the reply. https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/1455957_262746450543197_276002364_n.jpg
Viking Warrior
He cannot be worse than Lima but yeah I'm concerned about the lack of French players. if i say this i get slaughtered on this forum, totally agree with you there are some exciting young french players who would grace the dragons team "Why is Napoleon crying ?" said one sailor to the other, "poor ###### thinks he's being exiled to st helens" came the reply. https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/1455957_262746450543197_276002364_n.jpg

winnyason
There is dureau, Oldfield, Lima, whitehead, taia, Henderson departing and joining are myler, Richards, dave Taylor, Glenn Stewart, aiton,Broughton. Already there as foreigners they have Tonga, pommeroy, Carney, Anderson, inu. My concern is there is genuinely some exciting french talent coming through if the likes of yaha and in particular gigot and not first team then it poor and more will more to English clubs. rumour has it however both pommeroy and Tonga and looking to leave. GeordieSaint
Catalan are held in ridiculously high standards when it comes to how many French players are expected to be in their team. I do think time they are too quick to pick their importance over French talent (see Bosc, Duport and Pelissier) but if Guasch wants to run his club like that, then so be it. At least SL clubs are starting to realise that talent being generated in France and starting to hoover up this talent. That is is New Zealand model, not one club generates the national side. I hope Catalan and French RL continue to develop without the over scrutiny they currently face.
Viking Warrior
Nonsense post. The frustrating thing is that they are bringing in worse players than the ones they already have. Yaha is a better prospect than Broughton. Gigot is their best centre at the club. Pelissier is their best hooker. Dureau should of been dropped last year for either Bosc or Albert. will you stop it, i am beginning to agree with most things you post............
