DocH Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Yes absolutely the right call to bolster our squad at this time. Looking forward to seeing who plays. 2

Pretty certain Jake got injured last week late on and Brad was already out injured. Jack will be a huge miss as he was fantastic last week. But I’m sure the big Tongan will step up and make an immediate impact 1 the futures bright, the futures blue and white

TOWN TILL I DIE Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 What has happened to Blaine not in the squad & no mention of him on the injury list? Has he left?

Brookie Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 Blaine has never been given a chance by the coach. No idea why 1

Town utd Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 Think marwoods played well when picked, changed the game away at batley, scored 2 trys but disallowed away at Keighley from kick chase when only on for 10 mins before injured, Henson definitely the main 9 tho.

Hi everyone, if a player isn't listed as injured then the coach has picked a squad and hasn't selected said player whether that's Blain or anyone else not selected, there isn't a story behind every non selection, just simply a coach has choices to make and we are trying very hard to create healthy squad numbers to create competition and drive performance. dkw Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 Awful, absolutely awful. Terrible attitude from the start, looked like we thought we just had to turn up. Midlands fully deserved the win, ran harder, tackled harder. Ref spoiled things letting the tackles get so messy but he did it for both teams. 4

wonky Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 Well that was absolutely awful. Didn’t look up for it, dominated down the middle, both half backs were dreadful, only Jake Bradley out the starting 13 really made any inroads. We can blame the ref who was as bad as the come and caused all the issues that took place in the last 15 minutes but we shouldn’t deflect how bad of a performance that really was. Sammut and walker really need to step it up because neither took control, the kicking game was bad, and you’d think they’d never stepped foot onto a pitch together before. Why he took Jj off and left mcnicholas on when he missed so many tackles and leaving gaps in our defence, really not sure how many pints the sponsors had supped to choose him as man of the match. 1 the futures bright, the futures blue and white
DavidM Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 I said to the guy next to me after ten minutes we weren’t gonna win that . We were totally and completely outplayed and outenthused . They made way more ground , played far better rugby and looked like they wanted to win . Our passing is so slow , telegraphed and ponderous it’s unbelievable . We go sideways , round in circles and end up nowhere . A few minutes with the new big lad punching holes and playing off that was all there was . Our defence was equally bad , that bloke dummied all day and we still took it . The ref was dreadfully weak but no excuses we were second best comfortably start to finish . By the way what did Walker do in the tackle to get marched ? 3
