ojx
Has anyone heard who we will be playing in pre-season. Hopefully a couple of SL teams?
Krzzystuff
Nope nothing yet. I'm thinking that we will get a slew of news once the WC is done to grab the headlines. Expect to hear about what bids Perez presented for the NA expansions ( Boston & Montreal), a few more signings, pre-season and hopefully new kit launch. ojx
Looks like the only pre-season game will be against Bradford. Would have loved to play Hull again. If the 2019 transatlantic trophy will be played in Florida in January, that is something to start saving for.
RayCee
With the WC, the off season will be so short that the new season will be upon us before we know it. There will so much revealed once the cup is past. My blog: https://rugbyl.blogspot.co.nz/ It takes wisdom to know when a discussion has run its course. It takes reasonableness to end that discussion. They may scrimmage a few times with other teams.

Unless you really want to go to Florida I'd give the friendlies a miss. They are a necessary evil IMO. They may as well put a revolving door on the side line especially with it being TWP's only pre season match.

Captain Survival
Thanks Manu for that link. IMHO, Hull's choice of opponents for closed door trial games is an implicit statement that they regard them as the top clubs in Championship. Time may prove this wrong but these 2 teams are discussed as potential promotion clubs and from Hull's perspective, why not kill 2 birds with one stone and both obtain good quality for the trial games and do some intelligence gathering on potential future opposition? Featherstone's two main pre-season games are against last year's Grand Finalists Leeds and Castleford, Fev must be certainties for promotion then!
