jroyales Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 It all comes down to this to play at home with a realistic chance of beating Newcastle twice. The Yeds can't get drawn into battle like we had at the Whitebank, having players sent off, and losing when we were way in front and well in control which has ultimately cost us the championship.
ArthurO Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Well. Now we know. Whatever the result against Hunslet, if we're going to go up, we're going to have to do it the hard way. Those early season results e.g. Workington at home, have come back to haunt us.
J Dyson Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Well done Oldham! Look forward to the play offs know you can do it!
moorside roughyed Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Well done boys. Fantastic result.
roughyed1064 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 think they have been here before and blown it.
J Dyson Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Many times, but this again is a different team. Have faith in them you owe the lads that much!
FailsworthYed Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Good performance once we'd won the wrestle, thought whittel was terrific after the forced change. Langers moving to centre really opened things up.
m brooksy Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Really good controlled performance in the second half. Hunslet sort of self destructed and we picked them off one by one. First half was a bit iffy and we struggled to contain Ashton and especially Chappel but once Benty went to the edge those problems dissipated . Whittel was super. They couldn't handle his late footwork at the line. Still not quite sure how the lino ruled out his try either. Bridge was excellent again but is definitely carrying a few knocks and really needs the week off. Langtree was struggling to get into the game in the second row and against Chappel but was superb when moved to left centre. Wilkinson was class off the bench again. The rest did their job and were very professional as we wrapped up the game. The last month has really shown our true side since Naylor announced he was leaving.

Whitworth Yed Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 How does Bent tackle that much week in week out? must take until Wednesday before he can get out of bed in a morning.

I don't know he's a machine, incredible workrate. Extremely fit, that probably helps.
