The Hallucinating Goose
Three of the greatest quality frames I've ever seen puts Ronnie into the final on a decider. That was truly unbelievable. Kyren is gonna find the weekend very very tough.
The Hallucinating Goose
Congratulations to Ronnie on winning his 6th World championship. One more to equal Stephen Hendry with the most in the modern era. Kyren has made great progress in the last few years and has a big future. gingerjon
The most surprising thing about O’Sullivan remains *how few* times he’s won the world title, considering ... Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. (Terry Pratchett)

Well I don't disagree when it is said he is the greatest player of all time because quite frankly some of the stuff he does on a snooker table is mind blowing but what has to be remembered is the current era of snooker is probably the most competitive ever when you take into account the amount of different players that make the final let alone the amount of different winners. Every decade up to the 2000s has had one player dominate but that isn't the case anymore. To win 6 championships in this era is remarkable. The World Seniors is actually something Jimmy can win, he's the only player to win it twice and is the defending champion so he's got a good chance! Bedford Roughyed
With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
The Hallucinating Goose
Jimmy White v Stephen Hendry today in the world seniors semis for those of you that want a nostalgia trip back to the 90s. Live on BBC.

17 stone giant
Great comeback from Jimmy. 4-0 down at one stage. I didn't watch all of it but I saw the first three frames and then the last couple. Massive turnaround in fortunes for the two players. Early on Jimmy was poor, but by the end Doherty had completely gone.
The Hallucinating Goose
Stephen Hendry has been given an invitational tour card for the next two seasons so will be coming out of retirement for at least that long. He last played professionally in 2012.
The Hallucinating Goose
Great to see Aaron Hill making progress in the European Masters, beating Ronnie in the second round. Only 18 years old, only turned professional this year, it's fantastic to see another Irish player coming through, hasn't been one with any success particularly since Ken Doherty was winning tournaments. Nothing stopping you MM, I'd be up for that! Who would your top 5 snooker players be? Mine would probably be: 1. Ronnie O'Sullivan 2. Stephen Hendry 3. Steve Davis 4. Ray Reardon 5.
