Watched the replay. Surprising score although I tipped the Chooks. Dylan Brown should get at least 3 weeks for that haircut. Despite all their injuries and retirements, Roosters still have a strong team. On this year's form Teddy and Manu would have to be in the top 10 players in the game.

Good to see a game being played at Mackay. I saw a Trial game at the Mackay Showgrounds between North Queensland and South Sydney a few years ago. Good people up there.

Roosters are rebuliding but under Trent Robinson they are coached to a certain standard of performance which means they will be in the playoffs regardless.

It's Parra that's the issue, the team that declines as the season goes on. If Brad Arthur's team was serious contenders then this is a game they should have won. You can now mark them down as pretenders not contenders and as for Brad Arthur, Eel be facing flack in Western Sydney....

Tigers v Warriors:

These two teams are both on the outskirts of the top eight at present and while they are not out of the race to make the finals, it would be a surprise to see either side make it.

Wests Tigers appear to have a greater chance owing to possessing an extra two competition points but their form will need to improve having lost four of their last five.

New Zealand Warriors have suffered seven straight losses and with a lot of talent on the sidelines they are unlikely to end that run here.
