Donny away

The Raiders don't travel well.Β  The only teams they have beaten away from home are the bottom four - and of those - Coventry and Skolars were a bit of a struggle. Yet the three trams that have beaten Barrow - Keighley, Crusaders and now Donny - leaked a total of 115 points at Craven Park.Β  With trips to Rochdale and possibly Workington to come, unless this is put right we can forget about the title and automatic promotion.

As Cresta said after the Donny match, we had enough quality and enough ball to win the game so why can't we win tight games against better opposition?

Or is this view just the born pessimist in me?

We do suffer a bit of the 'beaten before we get on the bus' syndrome away from Craven Park im afraid.....dont know why ... been like this for the last few years

I think your both right, the number of away games we played well in the first half, completion rates high, penalties low, and brilliant defence, then in the second half it's as if we have put on a complete new set of players, who drop the ball, tackle high.and somehow wreck all the good work. The good thing is, if we win our home games we will finish second, if we win the three remaining matches we could still finish top. One last big push.
