They did announce  it but it was difficult to hear in family stand,think they said 2800 + .

Thanks, good considering the low level of away support. The club has done great to increase support so much. An extra 1,000 a match I reckon.

It needs to increase to pay for these overseas players Big Mac has brought in.

It will increase more for games against better teams i  should imagine, should be a decent attendance on Good Friday.

Lets be sensible about attendance figures. Averages of 2500 and above are hardly likely to sustain a "go forward" club taking into consideration the cost of living, inflation etc. Family life has, unfortunately, a choice to make.

Luckily we have income over and above gate receipts.

A positive way of looking at this, is that we are achieving attendance's far higher  than we have for as long as I can remember. With the additional income the club receives, it's good news.

Once again our community spirit as a club  has come to the fore.

We are averaging around 3,300 this season so far. A very positive step forward.

Showing my age but I remember about 50 years ago an attendance of 11 thou was nothing unusual at Belle Vue. The West Riding bus company put special transport on from Wakefield city centre. Those were the days. !!!
