Bedfordshire Bronco Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 I've watched RL a few times in that Sports bar down in Haymarket.... Don't know if it's still there post pandemic Waxys have had it on the big screen before too (Soho).
HawkMan Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 The Black Bull in Ruislip, Victoria Road is a decent shout. Used to have posters advertising SL . Another one is The Plough in Cranham near Upminster, the landlord was a Saints fan. I've not been to either for about 3 years , so this might be outdated info , but used to see RL at both.
JonNgog Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 I watched the grand final in the Kings Arms in Chelsea. Landlord seemed pretty RL friendly.
DI Keith Fowler Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Had a bit of luck at the Spread Eagle off Oxford Street. The landlord is a Scouser and seemed amenable to RL if you asked they'd put it on. I was born to run a club like this. Number 1, I do not spook easily, and those who think I do, are wasting their time, with their surprise attacks.
bangersandmash Posted October 3, 2022 Author Posted October 3, 2022 Thanks for all tips so far… I’d heard that Kings Arms in Chelsea showed RL so pleased that there’s truth in the rumour!
MattSantos Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 If you're close to Crouch End, there's a pub called Maynard Arms. It's around corner from me mates gaff and the manager is a Wakey fan. Purposefully puts on RL to annoy the football / union folk. They'll have it on Running the Rob Burrow marathon to raise money for the My Name'5 Doddie foundation: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ben-dyas
