Rovers now have 3 multi-millionaires on the new look board and it seems there are more to come with announcements expected in the coming weeks.

The purchase of Craven Park and several acres of surrounding land seems to have been the catalyst and with Paul Sewell's Sewell Construction and David Kilburn's MKM Building Supplies on board it seems clear that there are plans to develop the ground and surrounding area.

MKM are associated with the ground in the west of the city (they have the naming rights) and it will be a massive blow to Adam Pearson that David Kilburn has finally been attracted to Rugby League but not with Hull FC instead with Hull KR.

Attracting such major figures with no previous connections to Rugby League is a major coup for the club. Over the next few years the club is going to be transformed in a hugely positive way.

I would be good to have a club from Hull capable of challenging for the SL title.

But surely this must be down to the fact that Rovers are giving each of these multi- millionaires a red and white sheepskin coat and responsibly sourced bovril instead of them being enticed by the potential of the partnership between the RFL and IMG
