Think Penrith could have iced the game with 3 excellent drop goal opportunities in the last 10 mins but chose to go for tries. Souths needed to get Mitchell involved more as he presented a real danger. Ilias was well contained along with Walker.

At no stage did Penrith look as though they would lose their 3rd home game in a row and against Souths have only lost 1 in the last 11.

Cleary's kicking game was immense but I don't think he's at his all-round best yet.  Penrith's forwards did a lot of the damage through the middle.

The first half highlights showed some good to watch tries. Looks like the game is in the balance. A good second half in prospect then.
