Matt J
Nice that, prefer it to home one, but it was choice between that and a new PS3 Dualshock controller, Call of Duty swayed it. Cummins Out.
oldrover
if they had made that the home one, and the blue one the away shirt, i would have got one of each. joe mullaney is a god the only good tiger is a stuffed tiger

I hear you were having a "short" conversation with some player in amber n black not long ago!!!! ayup Robin, told suggy you had gone cruising round the hawaiian islands, he said makes a change from hampstead heath. did you see pearl harbour, she was in my class at school, had a very large navel, married teddy johnson and formed a singing duo. not heard anything of her for ages, seems to have sunk without trace. lingard
I like the new shirt but what the 'eck are you supposed to to with the collar? Up or Down? wear it at a jaunty angle. Don't think it will go with my green hat, but I'll give it a go. I demand to have some booze, I want it here and I want it now!

Chris Taylor
You did exactly the same the last time you stopped being the mascot, get over it and go to Belle vue there your team arnt they, maybe even Daddy cool will want replacing. But he raises a fair point though, the Huddersfield shirt is quality material and looks pretty good too. If this season design was done by Kooga it would be fantastic. 2008 RFL Wakefield & District Young Volunteer of the Year
HARTY
and there lies the problem mate, the badge. i hate the new badge the least they could do is have the old 1 on the other side
oldrover
i hate the new badge the least they could do is have the old 1 on the other side i meant the shirt is devalued by having the huddersfield badge rather than the Fev badge, but i do agree with you, our old badge was class. joe mullaney is a god the only good tiger is a stuffed tiger
Steve Smith
i meant the shirt is devalued by having the huddersfield badge rather than the Fev badge, but i do agree with you, our old badge was class. As a marketing exercise, changing the badge was surely a huge mistake. One of the great things about Rovers is their proud heritage, just cheapened by removing the coat of arms and replacing it with some poxy cartoon character. Perhaps we need a 'bring back the badge' campaign, ideally embroidered onto a nice cotton shirt...I might even buy one then.

Steve Smith
It has been done before !! Sorry, I didn't know. Unsuccessfully it would seem. Maybe we're just too parochial and old-fashioned in our ideas, we should perhaps embrace everything new as necessarily innovative and a good thing? genesis
No, this is pirate badge mark 2. Was it 5 years ago, when we were.- then wern't the pirates, then back to the crest for a year then back to the new pirate that we all love ? I actually prefered pirate no 1 and those shirts were better.

The Baby Faced Assassin.
Sorry to butt in here guys, and this is a genuine question, but why do we have a pirate as a mascot anyway? Does anyone know, is a Rover in some why connected with sea faring people and I have never been aware of it??

Does anyone know, is a Rover in some why connected with sea faring people and I have never been aware of it?? it goes something along the lines of rover being a morph of the dutch word "roven", which means pirate! I think that's it, but it could be just cak! "I love our club, absolutely love it". (Overton, M 2007)
