ayup Robin, told suggy you had gone cruising round the hawaiian islands, he said makes a change from hampstead heath. did you see pearl harbour, she was in my class at school, had a very large navel, married teddy johnson and formed a singing duo. not heard anything of her for ages, seems to have sunk without trace. (and if that doesn't upset someone i'll eat my lei.)

You did exactly the same the last time you stopped being the mascot, get over it and go to Belle vue there your team arnt they, maybe even Daddy cool will want replacing.

But he raises a fair point though, the Huddersfield shirt is quality material and looks pretty good too. If this season design was done by Kooga it would be fantastic.

i meant the shirt is devalued by having the huddersfield badge rather than the Fev badge, but i do agree with you, our old badge was class.

As a marketing exercise, changing the badge was surely a huge mistake. One of the great things about Rovers is their proud heritage, just cheapened by removing the coat of arms and replacing it with some poxy cartoon character.

Perhaps we need a 'bring back the badge' campaign, ideally embroidered onto a nice cotton shirt...I might even buy one then.

Sorry, I didn't know. Unsuccessfully it would seem. Maybe we're just too parochial and old-fashioned in our ideas, we should perhaps embrace everything new as necessarily innovative and a good thing?

No, this is pirate badge mark 2. Was it 5 years ago, when we were.- then wern't the pirates, then back to the crest for a year then back to the new pirate that we all love ? I actually prefered pirate no 1 and those shirts were better.

it goes something along the lines of rover being a morph of the dutch word "roven", which means pirate! I think that's it, but it could be just cak!
