#3209630 Rovers v London at Widnes Sunday 4th October.

Think if the million pound game was to be played as the main event at the Championship Shield final it would uplift the whole event and produce a big attendance with four championship clubs involved along with the league 1 promotion game.

Tell you what I never disrespect players publicly but I too wasnt sure about Snitch but the performance he gave Sunday was down to two things in my mind. Firstly Sharp has got him fitter and secondly the display that Bussey was giving rubbed off on to the other forwards which gave the whole team more vigor. It takes just one player to ignite others and if Snitch continues with that sort of form he will do for me

Graham you might have it easier against Fev you've beat us twice at Post office Road......that's assuming Dewsbury get to the final of course.

Much rather get a point across on here lately.Facebook has turned into a war of personalities.I like banter and humour like most folks but I don't like to see players insulted and slated for having bad games. I admire anyone that goes out and plays this tough sport and don't believe that any of them go out with the intention of not trying to do their best.

Everything is rumour. Believe it when you see it on the Rovers web site. Too many people try to get in with the first news when they hear tittle tattle. Best to sit back and wait.

#3194909 Paul Sykes

When a team aren't performing its always the so called experienced players that take the wrath. Fev have been fielding some very inexperienced players of late who despite their lack of first team experience have given their all. But unfortunately if we don't succeed in some games players like Sykes will take the butt of all the criticism. They can't perform miracles every week and for me I think Sykes has done alright.

It's not the first time that teams beating Fev think they have reached some sort of pinnacle only to fall flat on their faces. Fev are no longer a hench mark. They are a poor team in difficult times. They will certainly have to be on their mettle to reach the final.

Well said mate, boots on other foot now!!

You are absolutely spot on Graham. There is hysteria running through most of our fans at the minute. Half don't realise that we are cherry picking other clubs at the moment. And have been doing since 2010.Players come and players go. Good luck to Will he is one fantastic signing for Fax.

Think you'll be playing Workington in semis and London in final. You'll finish top now .Can't see Fev winning at Hunslet to be fair. And we would need a very big turn around in form to reach the final I'm afraid. Good luck. Fev fan.

In all walks of life If your face doesn't fit you've had it I'm afraid. Personalities get in the way of success.

#3186137 Ainscough

Posted by Phil Loxton on 02 September 2015 - 06:33 PM

Having watched it several times I don't believe he was going for touch. He was kicking it in the air celebrating the hooter going and was turning to celebrate when his team mate started chasing the kick.I reckon 9 out of 10 times he'd have got away with it but credit Will Sharp for being alert enough to watch what was happening. Most players would have stopped playing with the ball at the other end of the field. For what it's worth I think you will have enough to get over the line and stay in the Championship

I agree with that. He simply thought that the game was over when the hooter went. And for Sharp to cover so much ground after the hooter when many players would just call it a day was testament to his professionalism. But Ainscough is no lesser player for any of that cos he was Batley best player

We (FEV) might need to score 40 points in the last 7 minutes against the Rams. So you will have to be on your mettle.

Agree with all that. Wildie had his best game for us IMO, but you couldn't have described it as creative. I'd have been tempted to give KP the MOM, everybody he tackled went down first time - and some of them stayed down. Re the forward pass that led to Leigh's last try - swings and roundabouts, I reckon Uaisele's effort was grounded short. Morton had a decent game, but bombed a chance by ignoring Uaisele in support after a good break -  went missing again for a Leigh try. Lot better effort from the lads though all in all. Another season from Aizue would be fine with me (if not BSJ)  ;)‚Äč

I thought you played London
