In Topic: Koukash: Bulls would still be in Super League if my wife owned them

I'm not saying the CCj story is completely wrong, I am sure Salford owe Kooga money, the dispute seems to be whether a CCj has actually been obtained as yet. The language used in the release seems to indicate not.

I think Koukash is typical of many business men these days that they make the suppliers wait until the last minute for payment. The bigger the business the longer the wait.

I don't think the ownership of the Bulls would ahve made any diffence at the season end, his experience with Salford should ahve taught him that.

So the MEN is carrying the same lie RW? Along with a made up statement from Kooga?

I didn't say it was a lie, I said there was confusion as to whether they had obtained the judgement or simply served Salford with notice of intention.

I have no doubt money is owed but whether Kooga and the club are correct about the amount of money who knows.

as for the MEN, I'd take anything said by Barker with a huge pinch of Salt. He reads the RL forums and then prints it as fact on a daily basis.

Intresting article in the Salford star, on phone so can't link. But basically Kooga have obtained ccj, also highlights that Salford council are allowing club to play for free at A Bells for two years, subsidised match day costs by 164k and and allowing the 1.5 million pound historic debt to be paid back over 20 years at 0% interest.

The deal to repay the Council was agreed when the old company entered a CVA 2 years ago.

The 164K was news about 2 months ago and has been checked by the auditors. Seeing as Koukash is complaining about the stadium costs I can't see it being free.

There is a dispute over whether Kooga have simply applied for a CCJ as searches haven't revealed anything.

The star is a rag.

Saw the reference to David Morrissey in an article on this. Is he a RL fan as well or does he just know Marwen?

Blimey I've heard it say some people see the glass half empty, think Viking Warrior must be at the bottom of a deep dry well such is his dislike of Salford.
