The Official Receiver is the Liquidator.

Manchester Winders ?

Here we go again. Club in trouble so lets roll out the Manchester name as an idea. Manchester RU really sell the idea against little Sale. Towns have an identity and lets look at the previous mergers in RL. They worked out so well didn't they. Can you imagine suggesting a merger in Hull?

The unresolved legal actions might have offered an insight, plus the number of short lived companies. What do the FA do for their test? They ahve made a few errors over the years.
-
A little misleading by the fans group. Both main groups have made claims that proved not to be correct.

No it is a liquidator, they have been wound up and no longer trade. The name says it all. An administrator is when the company is looking to be saved or sold as a going concern . The Official Receiver has already been appointed at the time of the order as it compulsory winding up. An insolvency practitioner might be appointed if there were sufficient assets to pay his fees, which is unlikely. The company will be dissolved at the end of the process.

What else could charge them with ? there has to be wrong doing for a prosecution. Disqualification is civil and prosecution is criminal

As a Salford fan I am glad they have finally acted. The employees will be able to claim some money from the govt. Wonder if the Liquidator will sell any intellectual property such as the name (if there is value) Paul King will only lose his house if he can't pay the secured loan if the guarantee is still outstanding. I don't know what the rules are for creating a new club, and what is to stop several phoenix clubs all claiming to be Salford
-
No it doesn't as it isn't HMRC who undertake the Disqualification of directors in most cases it's the Insolvency Service. The same people will be the liquidator and investigate the directors. Over 1,000 Directors have DQs against them. Google insolvency Disqualification for more info. They can also apply for compensation orders or the repayment of covid loans.

why does Superman fly with is arms out? Just watching Superman returns from 2006 and they have all done it. -
I'm not sure Sl has the same number of "ego" that the NRL have. Probably the difference with Hastings. His mental health can be suspect especially after losing his mum. Rowley will get the best from him.

Such an iconic musician, and so sad to leave twins orphans -
The RFL have to act to prevent this happening again. There has to be a deadline for having enough players registered and financially stability . Teams such as Salford, Fev and previously Bradford should have been tackled sooner.
