DEANO
Correct me if I'm wrong but mr Guildford doesn't own the ground. I do believe it's council run. So how can he stop Gary hall entering the ground sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forward
Toby The Tram
It's not council run. It's run by York City. Jason Bass Fan Club - member #

Toby The Tram
The agreement with the Knights is with the Council & York City. But York City own and run the ground. Jason Bass Fan Club - member #

Simon Hall
Maybe JM does not want Simon or Garry Hall in the ground? Jason McGill has given him permission to be at the ground, he has no problem whatsoever with either of us. Guildford can ban me from the moon if he wants, I'd be as likely to go there as I would go to a Knights game while that clown is in charge. http://www.alldesignandprint.co.uk Printing & Graphic Design with Nationwide Service Programmes | Leaflets | Cards | Banners & Flags | Letterheads | Tickets | Magazines | Folders | Brand Identity plus much more Official Matchday Programme Print & Design Partner to York City Knights, Heworth ARLFC, York Acorn RLFC & Hunslet RLFC Official Player Sponsor of Marcus Stock for the 2020 Season
Angelic Cynic
He's been informed by Mr Guildford that he's banned for life from home games. That should cause the supporters to question their conscience, and if he can do that to the individual who put the time and effort in to get the club up from the floor in the first place then he can treat other supporters with equal disdain. I would think he has crossed the Rubicon, now. Awful news as a supporter of this sport. Best wishes to Hall senior.Shattering news.Just as well he has his family support. Gav Wilson
Surprised he's in a position to be turning folk away when they only get 500 through the gate in the first place. Still, at least him and his family can feel nice and powerful and important. @GavWilson
Simon Hall
My son was given a family ticket for the game by the foundation on a recent school visit, he'd told all his mates his grandad had been banned at the last game and that other kids shouldn't bother going "cos the man who runs the club is an idiot". Great bit of PR with the young uns! http://www.alldesignandprint.co.uk Printing & Graphic Design with Nationwide Service Programmes | Leaflets | Cards | Banners & Flags | Letterheads | Tickets | Magazines | Folders | Brand Identity plus much more Official Matchday Programme Print & Design Partner to York City Knights, Heworth ARLFC, York Acorn RLFC & Hunslet RLFC Official Player Sponsor of Marcus Stock for the 2020 Season

Couldn't agree more AC, but nobody should be surprised at this childish and vindictive behaviour. Once a despot, always a despot. The only "crime" committed by Gary Hall and others was to question the way that the chief executive of the club was conducting the clubs affairs during the new stadium saga. At NO TIME was Gary's loyalty to the club he has served all his life in question. Perhaps more importantly, JG has proved yet again that his only expertise is shooting himself and OUR club in the foot. At a time when the coach and team are doing the city proud and nearing one of the most important games of the year this imbecile manages to undermine all the good work in order to remind people who is no.1. In the words of the superb Amanda Richardson from the Blackadder series, "I'm Queen". After 55 years of loyalty to the club this could possibly be the final straw for me. I had taken on board the feelings of some other fans and attended games at Bootham Crescent to support the coach and the players but not the club. I know at least one long time fan of York rugby league who only goes to away matches because he cannot bear the thought of giving any more money to JG. As a lover of professional rugby league I may sadly have to follow the same path. ps As my loyalty to the club subsides even more, I feel it is getting close to me doing what once would have been unthinkable. Clarence St
He's been informed by Mr Guildford that he's banned for life from home games. Why? He's been sat near me at practically all the home games this season. Why the sudden ban?
BIG IAN
Have not posted for six months or more, but I find I have to on this topic. Gary, myself and others have raised well over 70k for the club since its formation, and to treat a guy like this is lets say outrageous to put it calmly. Remember it was Gary who first called the meeting to form the knights and has supported them all the way, a true fan. Why the Ban. Because a certain individual does not like it when other people have different thoughts to his and there write. I am one of the many stay away fans, only been to two games this year, I have my own thoughts, hence im not putting money in certain pockets, I listen on the radio, but good for you guys who go. So all you JG supporters, is this a way to treat a fellow supporter. The End.
Simon Hall
Why? He's been sat near me at practically all the home games this season. Why the sudden ban? It's mid season and there hasn't been any drama about him yet this season, so he's decided to kick it off as he obviously doesn't like it all being about the team and coach. I've heard all the local curry houses are now on red alert. http://www.alldesignandprint.co.uk Printing & Graphic Design with Nationwide Service Programmes | Leaflets | Cards | Banners & Flags | Letterheads | Tickets | Magazines | Folders | Brand Identity plus much more Official Matchday Programme Print & Design Partner to York City Knights, Heworth ARLFC, York Acorn RLFC & Hunslet RLFC Official Player Sponsor of Marcus Stock for the 2020 Season
paul
Why don't Simon and Gary speak to the local media ie Radio York or the Press and voice your opinion on how you are been treated by JG? I know JC on Radio York likes to ask questions to people who sometimes do things they shouldn't be doing?Just a thought.
Angelic Cynic
Should be contacting the RFL - after all,one of them really has committed a wrongdoing http://www.rugby-league.com/article/32260/get_involved Even the soccer fans want appeals against arbitrary conduct. http://www.fsf.org.uk/blog/view/Lack-of-appeal-is-unfair-deal No reserves, but resilience, persistence and determination are omnipotent. Toby The Tram
Tried contacting the RFL in the past. Truth is, they don't give a flying f*** about the fans, they're just in it for the money. Hence why Toulouse and a Canadian team are entering Championship 1. They just don't care about anything else bar Super League and certainly wouldn't be bothered about one fan being banned for no reason. As Gav says, what's the point.
